Of the supplications and prayers that were said in the Qur’an by the prophets and messengers of Allah is this deep one that expresses hopes for the very people who accompany us on our journey of life. Such people help shape the kind of relationship we have with God.

That’s why we turn to God, ask Him to protect us and help us coming closer to Him by granting us good and pious spouses and offspring who make us God-fearing:

They pray, ‘Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones’. (Al-Furqan 25:74)
