Imam Yasin Dwyer, former chaplain at Corrections Canada, shares the experience of being a convert to Islam.
Born in Canada to Jamaican parents, he went through a process of creating and developing his Muslim Canadian identity, giving insight into how to deal with problems of identity building and integration.
He shares with us stories of his own work with other converts in prison with many men and women who were offenders before becoming Muslims.
